Scott R. Franzen has never been particularly good at doing just one thing.
A retired U.S. Navy veteran, lifelong learner, entrepreneur, teacher, and now writer, Scott has spent his life following his curiosity wherever it leads. From a twenty-one-year Navy career that took him around the world to an unexpectedly varied life after military service, one experience has continually opened the door to another.
Those twists, turns, challenges, and occasional surprises eventually inspired his first book, Jack of All Trades: A Life Built on Curiosity, One Experience at a Time, a memoir about curiosity, adaptability, reinvention, and discovering how the seemingly unrelated pieces of a life can ultimately fit together.
With his first manuscript complete, Scott is already considering where his writing might take him next. Children's stories? Something considerably darker? He's learned never to rule anything out.
After all, why settle for just one kind of story?

Jill Franzen has always loved a good mystery, especially the kind that invites you into a charming world where secrets are plentiful and almost everyone has something to hide.
As a writer of cozy mysteries, Jill enjoys creating intriguing characters, unexpected twists, clever clues, and cliffhangers that make it difficult to put the story down. Her stories blend mystery, personality, humor, and just enough mischief to keep readers guessing, and turning the page.
Her first cozy mystery is the beginning of what she hopes will become a collection of stories and characters readers will want to return to again and again.
Because in Jill's world, there's always another mystery waiting to be solved.
